WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve recently become interested in the idea of WWW Wednesday after seeing a couple of posts from new blogging friends and decided to join in with the fun. It’s a nice way to give you a little weekly snapshot of my reading progress (as well as hold myself accountable haha).
Currently Reading
I just (today) picked my ARC of Defy the Worlds back up after an almost 4-month break from it. I tore through the first book, Defy the Stars, which I read in preparation for this but for some reason just put this one down and felt no motivation to return to it? I’m almost 50% of the way through so I should be done with it in no time!
Recently Finished
As it’s the late-a-thon month, I’ve been working my way through some of my long overdue ARCs. I finished Brave New Girls: Tales of Heroines Who Hack a few days ago and hope to post the review up sometime this week. It was a pretty enjoyable anthology, although definitely a mixed bag.
Next Read?
I’m trying to work through my overdue ARCs in order of due dates for the sake of fairness, so my probable next read will be Tempests and Slaughter which I’ve had since June 2018! I’ve not read any Tamora Pierce before but I loved the name of this book and the sound of its premise, so fingers crossed I’ll enjoy it and have enough time to squeeze in another book or two before the end of the month
What’s everyone else reading this week?
I still need to read Defy the Stars! It sounds so good. I also have an ARC of the sequel, so it would be nice to finally read them.

Defy the Stars has been on my TBR for aaages. I’m thinking it might be the perfect TBR-option for when my sci-fi month comes along.. Especially since I usually don’t pick up sci-fi without some kind of motivation?
I hope you end up loving the sequel as much as the first book!
I’m currently reading Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff and.. I’m still not over how his sarcasm fits mine perfectly, haha.
