WWW Wednesday | 7th February 2019

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

This past week I’ve barely read anything at all as I’ve been so busy with my PhD application and working part-time that any space time I’ve had has been spent sleeping so this week’s edition of WWW Wednesday will be quite short (and late!)

Currently Reading

the snow child

I’ve been really enjoying my read of The Snow Child. It’s been on my TBR since 2012 so it feels great to finally get round to it and so far it’s been the perfect wintery read. It’s also nice to be able to read something slow paced and atmospheric at a time when everything else in my life is so hectic!

Recently Finished

For the first time since starting WWW Wednesday last month, I haven’t finished a single book since last week. I haven’t had time to read any more of The Vulnerable Observer and I did end up DNFing The Science of Science Fiction.

Next Read?

the night circus

As my ARCs aren’t due until the end of this month, I figured my next read will be another backlist book that’s been on my TBR since 2012. Even if I don’t read much else this month, it’ll feel great to finally finish two of my oldest backlist books.

  1. Ooooooooh The Night Circus! That’s one of those books I liked well enough but didn’t think I loved until the very end when I realised it had run off down the street with my heart when I wasn’t looking.

I like the sound of the Snow Child – very good pick for this time of year!
