Currently Reading/Playing

you asked for perfect

I was very lucky to get an ARC of You Asked For Perfect from the author and started reading it today. This book speaks to me on a very personal level so I’m excited to be able to support a book which addresses serious issues surrounding pressure on young adults. So far it’s been enjoyable and I am here for all of the diverse rep ❤

Sadly, I haven’t been able to play any video games since last week due to having a lot of work to do, trying to catch up on my new release ARCs and sleeping A LOT when I’m not working or reading.

Recently Finished

a memory called empire

I feel really proud of myself for finishing AMCE in time for its release. I had originally planned to have finished it and written the review by last Friday but have been trying to go easy on myself as I have a lot going on right now. I’m looking forward to sharing my review with you all on Friday instead!

Next Read/Play

New Suns Cover
I took part in the cover reveal for the incredible New Suns: Original Speculative Fiction by People of Color way back in October and its publication day will be coming up on the 12th March! I’m aiming to have reviews for new release ARCs done a week in advance of their publication so hopefully I’ll be able to read New Suns ASAP. I do also need to read The Outcast Hours though for the blog tour on the 7th so I’m going to have a busy reading week ahead of me!

As I’ve mentioned in some of my recent gaming posts, I haven’t yet been able to play Anthem due to issues where the game refused to even launch for me. I’m hoping to give it another go this week. If not, then I’ll put it aside to play Battlefield 1, Monster Prom or Abzü!

line break

I can’t believe we’re almost at the end of February already, so let me know how your reading progress has gone this month and what you’re planning to read/play in your last week of February!
