WWW Wednesday | 8th May 2019

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading/playing?
What did you recently finish reading/playing?
What do you think you’ll read/play next?

This week has been pretty chill, making very slow progress on my essay and progress on books and games! I’m not looking forward to May as we have a lot of stressful things coming up (landlord inspection, deadlines, etc) so it’s going to be a bit difficult balancing everything that’s coming up. For now though, let’s catch up on this week.

Currently Reading/Playing

Nothing! I finished both my game and my book within the last few days so I’m yet to pick up something else.

Recently Finished

aurora rising

I READ IT! I FINISHED IT! I’VE EVEN REVIEWED IT! Aurora Rising was one of my most anticipated releases of 2019 so I was very excited to receive an ARC copy of it a few months ago. I’d saved it until just before its publication day so I could be excited about it for its book birthday ❤ It was a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to reading the next one.

I did it! I finally finished the Divinity: Original Sin 2!!! I honestly feel like I have been playing this game forever. I think I’ve been playing it for 3 or 4 months and it took me just over 60 hours in total to complete. It was enjoyable, def recommend it to fans of RPG games and Dragon Age, and it’s very replayable. I want to replay it at some point with a different character and companions but for now I think I need a break from it haha.

Next Read/Play

As it’s Moody May I have no idea whats coming next, you’ll have to wait in suspense to find out next week what I decided!

What have you been reading/playing this week?

  1. I got my copy of Aurora Rising yesterday. I really love the cover. I hope I actually enjoy it though since I didn’t like Illuminae very much. I think for me the last 100 pages of Illuminae were actually the best part of the book altogether. I have yet to read the rest of the series, although I kind of want to at least give it a second chance with the second book. Guess we’ll see how I like Aurora Rising soon. Can’t wait to see what you’re reading next!
