State of the ARC | #7 The Dreaded Reading Slump

State-of-the-ARC

State of the ARC is a monthly meme at Avalinah’s Books meant to motivate you to finish up all your long overdue ARCs (Advanced or Early Reader Copies).

Whilst January was a great start to the year for me in terms of catching up with my ARCs, my February reading hasn’t even come close either in terms of my ARCs or my reading more generally. As of today, I have only read two books and am less than 20% of the way through my third book (which I’m definitely not going to have finished by the end of the month, which is tomorrow!)

I’ve also expanded the question out to include what I’m playing video games, as I’m finding that I’m spending more time playing games than reading at the moment in an attempt to wind down with my partner, and some weeks I have no book updates but more game updates!

February TBR | Getting stuck into my 2019 goals

Hey friends!

After having such a successful January, this month has been off to quite a slow start. I’ve had a lot going on over the past week and I’m going to be pretty busy for most of February meaning I’m likely to have less time for reading and blogging. I did come up with a fairly ambitious TBR, prior to realizing I might not have much time this month, so we’ll have to check back in at the end of the month to see how much (if any) progress I made!
