After seeing how many people loved my 2018 Bullet Journal post where I shared my hard-learned lessons from the previous year and 2018 set-up, I thought it would be a nice idea to share with you all my monthly spreads and records of my reading progress. 2018… ahh.. the start of a new year and a new bullet journal. Or, in my case, skipping ahead a few pages of my 2017 bullet journal and trying to ignore the travesty of the beginning. I got my bullet journal last year after my partner stumbled across them on Pinterest and I knew I had to get one. They were so pretty! It provided an excuse to unleash the perfectionist and the stationery lover in me. It seemed like a perfect match until it wasn’t.

Happy New Year everyone!! Hope you all enjoyed seeing the new year, regardless of how you chose to do it. Me and my partner had a very chilled evening of eating Chinese takeaway, preparing my 2018 bullet journal, watching Jools Holland’s Hootenanny, and crashing out at about 1.30am. We also celebrated the anniversary of the night we first met 3 years ago, so there were lots of quiet celebrations all around. Preparing my bullet journal last night also gave me a moment to catch up with everybody else’s new year goals, challenges and January TBR’s which have given me some great ideas for my own plans!

I cannot believe that 2018 is only 3 days away now! This year has gone so quickly – it seems like only yesterday when I first created this blog in March, then I disappeared for months to write my essays and do exams, graduate, got a job, then it was Christmas and now it’s almost the new year! I’ve been trying to spend that weird in-between Christmas-New Years period preparing for 2018 as there seems so much to get ready. I’ve been trying to speed through and get all my 2018 prep pages done for my bullet journal, but so far my 2017 in review and 2018 cover page took me an entire evening to do, so… good luck to me.
