This past week has been super hectic as I was attending Easter Con from Friday-Monday plus a day each side to prepare/wind down from the event so it has not been a heavy reading week. I have loads of fun though and bought some fantastic books at the con with my birthday money so at least it was ~book related~.

It was my birthday on Monday so I haven’t been able to get much reading done as a result of all of the birthday prep, celebrating and resting I’ve been doing! I did get a surprising amount of books for my birthday though so I am very happy about that (let’s not talk about how that makes my TBR pile feel though)

April TBR | Bringing back the O.W.Ls again

I had not been intending to join in with the O.W.Ls readathon again this year, in fact, I had entirely forgotten about it until I saw Alexa’s readathon TBR post. I deliberated whether I would take part or not as I already had other plans but I was convinced by the amazing new set up of the readathon, particularly the introduction of the Wizarding Careers booklet which you can check out here! Major props to the creator, Book Roast, for creating such a brilliant event that successfully drew me back.

State of the ARC | #7 The Dreaded Reading Slump

State of the ARC is a monthly meme at Avalinah’s Books meant to motivate you to finish up all your long overdue ARCs (Advanced or Early Reader Copies).

Whilst January was a great start to the year for me in terms of catching up with my ARCs, my February reading hasn’t even come close either in terms of my ARCs or my reading more generally. As of today, I have only read two books and am less than 20% of the way through my third book (which I’m definitely not going to have finished by the end of the month, which is tomorrow!)
