Every year I look forward to the Goodreads Choice Awards and this year was no different. Even long before I started book blogging, the GR Choice Awards provided the perfect opportunity to show my love for my favourite books and (of course) increase my TBR by adding some of the biggest book names of the year.

2017 really was the year of exploration for me and it’s something I definitely want to continue into 2018. Being able to read more meant that I was able to branch out and discover loads of new authors and their wonderful works. I love this week’s T101T topic because we often spend a lot of time celebrating the books we love, sometimes without ever really celebrating the very authors who created those books.
