This tag has come along at the perfect time as I had been planning to do a mid-year post about all the fantastic books that I’ve been reading this year anyway. As I love tags I can compile it all within this one post! Thanks to ReadLikeWildfire and Earl Grey Books for creating the tag! (Addition: this was much harder than I thought it was going to be! Too many good books in one year)
Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly book tag that was run by The Broke and the Bookish but has now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she provides a different bookish theme those deep-seated desires to list! Anyone is welcome to join in on their blog, in the comments or any other way.
– Top 10 Rainbow Recommendations –
Yesterday I posted up part 1 of this week’s Top 10 Tuesday’s prompt, Beautiful Blue Books, but as I mentioned I had so many ideas for the prompt (none to do with my favourite colour…) that I had to split the posts into 2. Today’s post will focus on my Rainbow Recommendations as I have so many lovely book covers to share with you all that I just couldn’t help myself ❤
I am super pleased that Aurora tagged me in this brilliant tag because firstly, it’s amazing and secondly I wasn’t able to post anything for #IWD yesterday so this will have to suffice as my little contribution! I usually always focus on the same books so for this I’m going to try to bring you something a little different this time with my answers!
I clearly got a little bit too arrogant with my amazing reading progress in January and completely dived this month. In contrast with the 10 books last month, I only finished reading 6 books and DNF’d 2! February over in the UK was LGBT History Month and although I had lots of optimistic TBR goals I barely read any LGBT History Books or attended any events as we had a few unexpected life events happen. Where did the month go?!
