Top 10 Tuesday | Black History Month (UK)

Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly book tag that was run by The Broke and the Bookish but has now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she provides a different bookish theme those deep-seated desires to list! Anyone is welcome to join in on their blog, in the comments or any other way.

This week’s prompt for TTT was actually “Bookstores/Libraries I’ve Always Wanted to Visit”, but as it’s Black History Month in the UK this month I wanted to give you all some recommendations for that instead. Last year for a TTT prompt on favourite British fiction, I shared a list of diverse British fiction in response to the numerous lists which focused overwhelmingly on whitewashed and middle-class Britishness.

October TBR | Black History Month

Hello Panda friends!

October is set to be a super busy month for me. If you saw my most recent installment of The Sunday Post you will have read that I will now be juggling postgraduate study with my blogging, reading and reviewing! Whilst I really enjoyed my time away from the restrictions of TBR’s, I know that I will need to be a lot more organized from now on if I’m going to be able to balance my academic and personal reading lists so I’m bringing back my monthly TBR posts, at least for the time being.

Wrap Up | May: AAPI Heritage Month

Hey Panda friends!

I absolutely cannot believe that it is the end of May and we’re already halfway through 2018. Whaaaaaaaat?! Idk how time is flying so fast and I always seem to be so behind on everything. May seems to have been a massive blip for me in terms of organization so sadly I didn’t get to post most of the topics I had planned and only read 3 out of 8 on my TBR! Oops… BUT I did read some fantastic books this month anyway and am smashing my Goodreads Challenge (which I have now increased from 50 to 75 books).
