The Weekly Wrap | 8th January 2020
Hey all! You might have noticed this week’s change in title from WWW Wednesday to “The Weekly Wrap”. The Weekly Wrap is a new weekly post created by Destiny who combined the WWW Wednesday meme and The Sunday Post to bring her readers the best of both worlds within one tidy post. As I already use a similar format but just stuff everything into my WWW Wednesday posts, I thought it would be cool to adopt Destiny’s The Weekly Wrap here too. She’s also been kind enough to let me use her post as a template as I love the way that she laid everything out, so a big thank you to Destiny. I hope you all enjoy the change ā¤

Hey everyone! It has been a chaotic 2 weeks since my last WWW Wednesday post. On Monday I submitted my dissertation for my MRes which has been taking up about 99% of my time so I am super glad to have finally submitted it and be able to move onto my PhD. I’m having a bit of a reading dilemma this week so I hope you’ll stick around to offer your thoughts and advice this week ā¤

I’m continuing to have quite a difficult time at the moment as my depression has taken a bit of a nosedive, likely in response to stress around my dissertation which I’ve had to get an extension for. However, I’ve actually been able to use this time to seek solace in books rather than sitting in a massive blanket puddle not doing anything and I’ve been able to get a lot of reading done this week which is great!

I’m having quite a bad day today and have been having a run of pretty rough days over the past week. I’ve been feeling really stressed out about my dissertation as I’m not having a good time with it which has had a knock-on effect to my depression & anxiety which has then had a knock-on effect to my sleep hygiene and everything has kind of collapsed. I’m hoping to be able to submit my dissertation for the deadline next Monday so then I can have a couple of weeks break before starting my PhD at the end of September and be able to catch up with some reading and gaming!
